Daniel Shapiro’s Squiggle #107 is hand built using California stoneware through a combination of ceramic techniques. Elements are thrown on the wheel or extruded and then painstakingly assembled to create a one of a kind form. Once built, bands and 24k gold are added creating its unique appearance.

While each Squiggle Lamp is similar in concept they all are unique in form and finish. The process of building the lamps is its own creative journey with the end result taking on a personality of its own.
