Crafted from a series of parenthesis-shaped stoneware tubes, the Parenthetical Chair is intended to induce a moment of pause, whether for an observer admiring the piece or for someone seated upon it. Each large extrusion shaping the chair harbors smaller golden extrusions that spill from the edges, symbolizing the valuable experiences we share within every moment.
The center of the chair features custom hand-felted raw fleece by JG SWITZER, which can be ordered to match the chair’s finish. The Parenthetical Chair comes in various finishes and can be customized through commissioned orders.
