Tides Cabinet

The Tides cabinet is a memory carved into wood. A motif of shimmering gold to catch the light, reflected it and remind all of the movement and feeling of the ocean tides and currents. The piece is wall hung to float in any space. It offers half full concealment of items and half partially screened, presenting an opportunity for thoughtful curation of cherished objects and talismans. Inside is special bronze hardware meant to hold lavender. A flower which poses both practical and poetic functions for the piece.
