COUP D’ETAT presents (pure) anomaly, an exhibition of work by Austrian artist Felix Muhrhofer.
(pure) anomaly presents a cross-section of Muhrhofer’s practice, exploring diverse approaches to nature and its refinement through design. The works play between apparent symmetry, perceived symmetry, and seemingly chaotic organizational forms that nevertheless produce stability. In this interplay of allowing nature to unfold and deliberate intervention, particular anomalies repeatedly emerge, offering a clear indication of the beauty of chance.
New to Coup D'Etat
Felix Muhrhofer (b. 1975, Vienna) is an Austrian designer working at the intersection of industrial design, interior architecture, and hands-on craftsmanship. Educated at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and ELISAVA in Barcelona, Muhrhofer began his career working from a small, improvised workshop, using it as both laboratory and proving ground for material, form, and production logic.
