Celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year with WOOD DRAGON, a tribute to the artist’s 60-year cycle and the Year of Jia Zi, symbolizing reflection and transformation. The LIGHT variant of this felted wool fabric captures movement through the use of five different undyed sheep breeds. Rare Ouessant wool, a deep brown-black originating from an island off the coast of Brittany, is beautifully blended with silk and merino to bring a lighter touch to WOOD DRAGON – LIGHT. Other ‘paints’ in this fabric include wool from the artist’s locally farmed sheep, creamy and taupe Mohair, and a hint of peach-colored carded wool and Alpaca blend. Due to the natural characteristics of undyed fiber, color may vary.
