Furniture Production & Inventory Coordinator

COUP D’ETAT, a highly regarded brand in the industry, offers a luxury product assortment at the forefront of innovative design. We are a hybrid showroom, servicing both the interior design trade and retail clients. This is a fast-paced, sophisticated, and dynamic design showroom. We are known for breaking barriers in the categories of visual display, product curation, and customer experience.

We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Furniture Production & Inventory Coordinator to join our team in a full-time capacity. This role is responsible for overseeing product lifecycle management, item refurbishment, quality control, and product development project management, along with item receiving, storage, and shipping logistics. The ideal candidate is a reliable professional with strong organizational skills who can take ownership of the studio’s day-to-day operations. You will work closely with and be supported by our Studio Production Manager. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits.

Role Responsibilities

  • Control the flow of COUP D’ETAT warehouse inventory through tracking, receiving, and reporting updates to the COUP D’ETAT Inventory Management Coordinator and COUP STUDIO Production Manager
  • Act as the first point of contact for all deliveries, vendors, and shippers visiting the Studio
  • Enforce a quality control procedure to ensure all COUP STUDIO and COUP XX products stored at the warehouse, workrooms, or contracted shippers are inspected and accounted for through the ERP
  • Inspect and document quality standards for all COUP STUDIO production orders and floor consignment items
  • Maintain inventory level reports and physical counts for all COUP STUDIO floor consignment across all representative showrooms and storage facilities
  • Manage shipping logistics for all COUP XX floor consignment items to and from all Coup D’Etat showrooms
  • Coordinate with the COUP D’ETAT Inventory Management Coordinator in preparation of COUP XX container deliveries
  • Facilitate vintage (COUP XX) product refurbishment according to given direction
  • Send COUP XX updates to the COUP D’ETAT Inventory Management Coordinator and graphic designer so that tear sheets, sales collateral, photoshoot shot lists, and website content are accurate and brand appropriate
  • Liaise with partners across the business such as workrooms, manufacturers, and shippers
  • Demonstrate a high level of product knowledge for the COUP STUDIO and COUP XX lines
  • Process shipping invoices through the ERP
  • Expedite and send out all COUP STUDIO product finish and/or fabric samples upon request
  • Coordinate and participate in showroom resets
  • Assist with maintenance and functionality of the COUP D’ETAT warehouse/studio facilities
  • Assist with product assembly and packaging in preparation for delivery
  • Receive and check in all COMs and accouterments delivered to the studio facility
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience working in inventory management, furniture, or decorative arts preferred
  • Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
  • Physical strength to lift and move inventory
  • Ability to project manage product development
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software (proficient in NetSuite or Salesforce a plus)
  • Proficient in Word and Excel
  • Passion for luxury furniture design and decorative arts
