Hand-built ceramic tiles in varied shapes, textures, and deep tonal glazes come together in this one-of-a-kind wall installation by Linda Fahey. Fahey describes her practice as “architectural ceramics,” often drawing from the language of building facades. For this red palette, she looks to old brick buildings and modernist brick facades, translating those architectural influences into a sculptural composition of glossy, matte, and patterned surfaces.
